A FISTFUL OF PAINT

Inspired by Cubesato and Nosaj Thing to name a few artists. This one is something completely new; I've never ventured into this particular kind of music in terms of creating it. I'd call it electroacoustic/glitch I guess; vocals were done by yours truly cause I'm a noob at sampling. Theres 48 layers in total, took me two evenings to do. It was a lot of fun to make :D

Check out the water submersion thing I did at 2:20, I think it's pretty boneriffic

Picture not related.

Vanishing Point - Bonsajo

Possibly the coolest fuckin thing I've seen in a long time. It amazes me that something like this-  abstract shape and colour put to music and movement - can reach you at an emotional level. The impact this short clip has on me is easily greater than half the movies I've seen.
Ridiculous.

A short acoustic (partial) cover I just recorded of one of my favourite Shins songs.

I probably didn't do it justice but hopefully you'll like it anyways.

There's only two layers:

1) Guitar + Vocals

2) Harmony

There is Suffering in the Nature of Life

I saw this -

THERE IS NO SUFFERING IN THE NATURE OF LIFE

- on a bulletin board in the hall at school. I thought it was pretty cool; so I doodled it out and ended up with some pretty cool stuff.

^ It's dirty cause someone stepped on my sketchbook. 15-20 minutes

Figure Drawing: January #1

[January 21, 2010], [January 25, 2010]

These are from my 4th and 5th sessions in live figure drawing at Sheridan. The 3 hours you're given goes by pretty quickly when you're constantly firing off lines trying to keep within the time limits of the poses. I'll post up some conte drawings as soon as I find my camera; but for now I can only post scannable pieces.

^ The foot was 2 minute.

^ 1 minute gesture drawings on the left, 5 minute drawings on the right.

^ Trying out some heavier stylization at the top left
